What are Immersion Experiences?
Brighton Immersion Experience
The idea was to grow a way of attracting new talent to Brighton and Sussex. The foundations are in providing an honest experience of what it is like to live in Brighton and Sussex and the benefits that this could provide to the individual, whether single or with a family. Investing time to tell them the amazing life style that is available here through understanding each candidate’s needs. This is part of our commitment to improving the image of recruitment. Brighton and Sussex is a fantastic place to live and we provide our local knowledge to help candidates decide if this is the right place for them. We carry out all of this before we speak about potential roles and at our own risk and cost.
The process revolves around our immersion days. These are set days where we provide a real insight into the area through local tours, experiences of IT Meetups and introductions to social circles. We spend time discussing their thoughts and their aspirations, providing a very human experience. We engage with them.
Once the individual has seen what Brighton and Sussex has to offer and makes the decision that relocating is the right move, we then spend time understanding all their requirements; these would include housing, schooling, work and lifestyle. We then advise accordingly, to assist in a smooth transition to a new environment.
Securing a new position is clearly the first step to all these processes. As we expand our pool of dedicated relocators who possess skills in missing areas such as Development, UX/UI and Scrum Mastery to name a few. At this point we require the engagement of other companies to ensure the successful placement.
Our immersion experience is designed to work with the local community to build a sustainable future for Brighton’s digital scene and prevent the recycling of candidates within our area. To grow together. We need to introduce new talent to Brighton and Sussex and TWH’s immersion experience is the first step in this process.
